Last week, we confirmed the announcement of Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag, today we’ve got some screenshots for the upcoming game for you to drool over, and if that wasn’t enough, you can head over to Ubisoft’s Youtube channel and check out the trailer for the game.
Ubisoft today issued a press released stating, Assassin’s Creed: IV Black Flag, will ‘feature the most diverse and seamless Assassin’s Creed world ever created.’ and will feature over 50 locations, previous weapons from the franchise, including new weaponry from the AC:IV era.
Set in the 18th Century, the Assassin’s Creed: IV Black Flag story will centre on Edward Kenway, a young British Royal Navy sailor. Craving the danger and adventure of a pirate, Kenway leaves the Navy and finds himself in the centre of an ancient war between Assassins and Templars. The game will star some of the most infamous pirates in history, such as Blackbeard and Charles Vane.
Assassin’s Creed: IV Black Flag, has been in development for the last two years and will be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation4 and the Wii U, the press release also went on to state ‘other next generation consoles.’ will get the upcoming game, next Xbox then!
Yves Guillemot, chief executive officer at Ubisoft said:
PlayStation 3/PlayStation 4 players will be able to download 60 minutes of additional gameplay via the PlayStation Network after the game’s launch, and details of the Collector’s Editions of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will be unveiled by the end of March.
