Farming Simulator 2013, released last month, has had over two million mods downloaded from its in-game Mod Hub. The surprisingly popular PC game has a thriving mod community, updated with maps, vehicles and buildings and more. The most popular mod has been created by developers Giants Software – a Lizard ATV off-road quad (which has been downloaded over 350,000 times) allows players to get around their farm faster and easier than in the larger farming vehicles. Other mods available include the use of flyable planes – showing just how modding can change a game massively.
The game is available on Steam where tools to create your own mods are also available, there’s also a demo available from the Farming Simulator 2013 website.
