GAME and PlayJam have gone into an exclusive partnership, to sell PlayJam’s debut console, the GameStick, from June this year.
GameStick first came onto player’s radar’s after launching a successful Kickstarter campaign, earlier this year, in which they raised a massive, $647,658 (£426,082).
The GameStick idea only needed $100,000 (£63,451). GameStick will be available for pre-order through GAME’s website from today. The GameStick will be available for purchase in-store from June. RRP £79.99.
The tiny mico-games console will plug directly into a TV’s HDMI slot, the console features a Bluetooth Game Pad, so there’s no messing about. Just get it out the box and play! The GameStick itself is now a 32GB Micro SD Card and has the ability to up the storage to a massive 104GB!

Jasper Smith, CEO for PlayJam said:
I think this is another smart move for GAME. Last year, they almost disappeared along with their sub branch, GameStation (which has been absorbed fully into GAME) forever. GAME have made a couple of smart moves with introducing GAME Lock-in Evenings, rolling out wi-fi in their stores, working on their community and hosting frequent sales.
I’m not sure if GAME will grace the GameStick with a midnight launch, which I think would be awesome, but watch this space for further news on the console, and let me know if you pre-order!
