Star Wars 1313 was first unveiled at E3 in 2012. There has been a lot of buzz around the Star Wars games after Battlefront, and I think I speak for a lot of fans when I say they would have wanted to have seen a Battlefront 3 (we even did an article on it here) however Star Wars 1313 seems to be the next installment of our epic back-story questing.
This is a third person shooter, set between the first and second trilogy, which will be taking you through the motions of a bounty hunter landing in Coruscant’s subterranean criminal underworld. The game will be taking place on the Level 1313 showing a darker story than is typically expected of Lucas Arts that has attained them an “M” (for Mature) Rating.
Dominic Robilliard (Creative Director at Lucas Arts) has stressed that gore isn’t on the agenda when talking about mature content and has said;
The world of 1313 will show the player the dingy back streets of the Star Wars Universe, where the separation between good and bad is hazy at best. With the force well out of site, you will be using your natural wit to keep yourself alive as well as your bounty hunter gadgets and gun to keep you “safe”.
This game is speculated for an end of 2013 release. 1313 will be expected on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, however if the Xbox 720 or PS4 come out anytime soon, it may be made for those consoles instead of or in addition to the 360 or PS3.
