CI Games will be releasing new information on their upcoming next-gen fantasy RPG, Lords of the Fallen, during a panel discussion and Q&A session at the Role Play Convention in Cologne, Germany on June 1-2. Lords of the Fallen has added two elements to the RPG genre, giving it a chance to stand out from the rest. It features an advanced combat system which is different to any other, along with an unorthodox approach towards the difficulty and challenging aspects of the game.
No mistakes are forgiven in this harsh fantasy universe. Where players must be tactical when choosing which modes of powerful weaponry and plans of action they will use, as they fight in missions to defeat the Lords, who command a Fallen Gods’ army. Only the best and most proficient users will match the power of the Lords and emerge victorious in this cruel world.
The executive producer of the game is looking forward to releasing new details about the game at the conference, with members of the development team speaking about some of the game’s features. Two of these features are the gameplay balancing and difficulty levels within the game. The executive producer stated that
This is the kind of the game CI Games are striving to create, one where progression and experience equals enjoyment.
The event at The Role Play Convention is the last place where those interested in the game can learn more about Lords of the Fallen. After this occasion the game will be officially unveiled and presented live at this year’s E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) on June 11-13. Offering fans the chance to play the finished product, before its release in 2014 on the PC, as well as next-gen consoles.
