Starcraft II – Hearth of the Swarm release date announced

After months of the Hearth of the Swarm beta, Blizzard announced the release date of the expansion! See the official statement below:

There are 2 version you can purchase, the Standard edition and the Digital Deluxe edition. Here’s a summary of the extra content you receive in the Digital Deluxe Edition:
- StarCraft II Torrasque: Crush the enemies of the Swarm with the indomitable Torrasque, a fearsome new look for your zerg Ultralisks.
- StarCraft II Battle.net® Portraits and Decals: New Swarm-infested Battle.net portraits and decals help you customize the look of your online profile and in-game army.
- World of Warcraft® In-Game Pet: The Baneling companion pet is bursting with enthusiasm and ready to explode onto the Pet Battles scene.
- Diablo® III Blade Wings and Banner Sigil: Grow zerg-like wings in honor of the Queen of Blades, and unfurl an exclusive banner sigil to mark your allegiance to the Swarm in Sanctuary.

There is also a Collector’s edition for the true fans! This includes the same items as the Digital Deluxe edition but as an extra you also receive:
- Behind the scenes DvD/Blu-ray
- CD with the soundtrack
- Hearth of the Swarm hardcover art book
- Zerg Rush Mousepad
